WATCH: Cop Allegedly Pistol-Whips Man

Ryan Dorm

Surveillance footage taken outside a Maryland convenience store appears to show a flash of light as a police officer with a loaded gun pistol-whips an unsuspecting man.

The video, recorded last February in Brentwood, calls into question Prince George's County police officer Donal Taylor's claim that 19-year-old Ryan Dorm -- who spent four months in jail following the encounter -- fought for the weapon as the officer approached. The gun appears to discharge as it strikes Dorm's skull.

According to MyFoxDC:

Attorney Jimmy Bell, who represents Dorm, says the video shows Taylor out-and-out "lied" when he wrote up a report supporting assault charges against his client.

Police also say that Taylor lied about the incident, according to NBC Washington. The alleged victim and his attorney have since filed a $10 million lawsuit against Taylor and his department.

Taylor is charged with misconduct, reckless endangerment and second-degree assault, the Associated Press reports. He is suspended from the department.

Worker Tied Up And Forced To Watch Porn Gets $25,000

SAO PAULO -- Latin America's biggest beverage company Ambev must pay $25,000 to a worker who was forced to attend prostitute parties as part of a manager's incentive program, Brazil's top labor court ruled.

Anheuser Busch InBev's Brazilian unit AmBev must pay because of the embarrassment and bullying the employee suffered, the court stated in a release on its website.

The statement says incidents with prostitutes happened at least 10 times in 2003 and 2004.

The court's Monday statement says the worker at one point was tied up at work and forced to watch pornographic films and a stripper performed in his office. The statement described the worker as a married evangelical Christian.

The worker's manager used the services of prostitutes to reward salesmen who met their goals.

Ambev said Tuesday in an emailed statement that "old cases" don't reflect the company's daily operations, adding that it "preaches respect and values teamwork."

WATCH: Police Shoot And Kill Man With Knife In Times Square

NEW YORK — Police shot and killed a man they say lunged at them with a knife in a confrontation that began in Times Square and drew officers and spectators on a chase that ended with shots fired near one of New York's most crowded tourist areas.

The encounter played out Saturday around 3 p.m., when officers approached a 51-year-old man they say appeared to be smoking marijuana near West 44th Street and Seventh Avenue, in the heart of Times Square.

The man became agitated, pulled out an 11-inch knife and began to put a bandanna on his head, police said. He refused repeated orders to drop the weapon and began backing down the avenue, continuing for a number of blocks and drawing many officers into a slow-speed pursuit that took them south of Times Square.

According to the police account, officers pepper sprayed the man six times but he held onto the knife throughout the seven-block pursuit. At West 37th Street, he lunged at police and two officers shot him in the torso, police said. He was pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital.

Witnesses recalled a chaotic scene in which some bystanders took cover, while others began following the procession down the avenue in an attempt to capture cellphone video of it. On video obtained by NY1 cable news station, a number of officers, guns drawn, can be seen pursuing the man as he appears to skip down Seventh Avenue.

"He was swinging at people as he ran," Jobby Nogver, a 17-year-old visiting from Boston, told The New York Times. Nogver watched as police surrounded the man and fired. "I can't tell you how many shots," he said.

Priscilla Rocha, a tourist from Brazil, was visiting Times Square with her husband when they saw the confrontation.

"I almost had a heart attack," she told the Times. "Everyone started running."

WATCH: Bear With Sweet Tooth Breaks Into Chocolate Shop

Bear Breaks Into Candy Shop Screenshot of one lucky black bear who found his way into an empty candy shop.

Everyone knows that bears like to raid campers' picnic baskets when they get hungry, but who knew they also occasionally get a hankering for delicious chocolates? That's just what one young black bear was craving in Estes Park last week.

Jo Adams, a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory owner in Estes Park, came into work one morning to find some chocolates out of place, a candy tin on the floor and a bit of dirt on top of her checkout counter and thought that perhaps a squirrel had broken into the shop overnight, according to Estes Park News.

But when Adams called her son Eric to come in and help clean up the shop before she opened, they couldn't find any critters so Adams, who recently installed security cameras, took a look at the video. What she found was definitely not a squirrel, instead she watched a "shadowy" black bear wandering around the chocolate shop having the time of his life.

In the surveillance video above, the bear is seen opening the store's front door with claws, propping it open, meandering into the store and taking a look around at all the sweets he could eat.

The sweet-toothed bear would grab a mouthful of candy and walk it outside where he'd eat it up only to come back in for more and more helpings. 7News reports that the bear made seven trips outside to eat the chocolatey delights during his twenty minute raid.

According to Estes Park News, the bear's favorite treats were chocolate covered Rice Krispie Treats, peanut butter cups, the store's special "Balls of Joy," English Toffee and -- wait for it -- giant chocolate covered cookies called "Cookie Bears." Naturally.

The shop did open back up after several hours of cleaning and disinfecting the shop, ABC15 reports.

Surprisingly, Adams business has boomed since the bear break-in, according to 7News. A number of customers come in just to order what the bear devoured.

The lock on the store's front door was reportedly faulty which allowed the hungry bear to slip his paw inside, 9News reports. However, the locks were replaced the next day and muddy footprints were found outside the shop indicating that the bear may have come back for seconds.
